The Game launches pre-wound gaskets
The Game, a well-known rapper from Los Angeles, is the face of Gsticks, pre-rolled joints containing one gram of cannabis and not a trace of tobacco.
Visit same song as Wiz Khalifa, 50 Cent’s former protégé is entering the cannabis market. He doesn’t produce any products under his own name; instead, he sponsors the GpharmBrands label. However, the Compton rapper isn’t one for showing off massive joints. Whether in his lyrics or his music videos, cannabis is rarely featured—except in this track:
A partnership between two California heavyweights
Gfarmabrands is one of the leaders in California’s cannabis industry. It is a well-established company that has capitalized on the wave of legalization sweeping the United States to expand. Operating as a holding company, it emphasizes financial benefits for shareholders. Focusing on cannabis marketing and management, the company is diversifying into product distribution through Gfarmalabs.
In addition to its medical cannabis products, Gfarmalabs offers a wide range of products. It now offers pre-rolled joints containing one gram of pure weed are available. The Game helped select the six available cannabis strains. The rapper explains his choice: «These guys are pioneers of innovation in the cannabis industry.» Financial considerations may also be a motivating factor. By positioning itself in the medical cannabis segment, Gfarmabrands aims to expand into the 25 states that have already legalized its use.
However, the website clearly encourages recreational use in its product descriptions: «Never miss an opportunity to spark your imagination with others» or «Instead of having a cup of coffee, light up an «Amarillo» to get your morning going.».
The main drawback is that you don’t know the composition of the joint you’re buying. In fact, «Amarillo» and «Rosado» for hybrid strains, «Rojo» and «Violetta» for indicas, and «Verde» and «Naranja» for sativas. If the packaging of the Gsticks It says: «The tastiest pre-rolled medical cannabis joints,» but no one knows what’s in them. You’ll have to pay 20$—or 18.5€—for a single Gstick and 480$ for a box of 24 (no volume discount).

Strawberry-Flavored THC Lemonade
The Game also sponsors the brand Gdrinks from the same distributor, THC-infused sparkling drinks. 100 mL of hybrid cannabis infused into 470 mL of strawberry- or lemon-flavored soda. According to the cannabis review site thelegionofsmoke, drinking an entire bottle at once is strongly discouraged. One or two glasses seem to be an acceptable amount, as the high sets in fairly quickly. If you aren’t active within two to three hours of drinking it, the couch will be your best friend. The bottle costs 13$. As with joints, there’s no bulk discount if you buy a case: 312$ for 24 bottles.
Musically speaking, The Game's latest album, »Street of Compton,» has been available since June 17. The rapper also organized a peaceful march against police violence alongside Snoop Dogg in July.
