Samir Nasri: his stonerlife in the United States
Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has been involved in a string of minor controversies this preseason. He appears in an Instagram video posted by his friend Amhed Yahiaoui holding a bag of weed.
Friends since their days on the French Under-15 national team, the two teammates have followed completely different paths in soccer. One rose to prominence with OM, while the other was sidelined because of his personality. Amhed Yahiaoui is also mentioned in connection with the Valbuena sex tape scandal. The two friends—who are part of the same generation as Benzema, Ben Arfa, and Menez—have remained close despite their different lifestyles.

In this short video set to a track by Young Thug You can see pictures of Samir Nasri, with his hair dyed blond, enjoying the American summer, surrounded by big cars and beautiful girls.
Problem: There are also a large number of bags of weed in the video, accompanied by the hashtag ##stonerlife. Of course, Samir Nasri isn’t seen using cannabis, nor is he endorsing it, but this might not be the best way for a top-level athlete to get back in his coach’s good graces. His start to the season has indeed been rather difficult: he was benched because he was slightly overweight, and the atmosphere with Pep Guardiola is reportedly tense. Sports newspapers are reporting that he’ll be leaving over the summer.
Nasri may have decided to switch careers right now. Will there be a collaboration with Wiz Khalifa soon?
