Thailand's prime minister vapes medical cannabis during a press briefing
When people tell you (and keep telling you) that Thailand doesn't hold back When it comes to medical cannabis, this is no joke. Even politicians are getting in on it, handing out ganja-themed plush toys and using cannabis oils in public.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha announced last Wednesday the launch of the government’s website on medical cannabis (available here) and appeared at an event alongside a person wearing a cannabis leaf costume named Dr. Ganja. Children were also present, along with their Dr. Ganja dolls.

Prayut Chan-o-cha has spoken out in favor of the therapeutic use of cannabis, stating that it represents a potential treatment option, particularly for low-income individuals. According to The Nation Thailand, the minister also demonstrated cannabis-based products by inhaling an oil through a vape pen and by applying some cream to the back of his neck. The Prime Minister also announced his intention to buy some oils himself.
