Olah: CBD capsules with adaptogens
CBD and adaptogens are most often combined because of their similar properties. In particular, they are believed to help the body maintain its balance. CBD and adaptogens thus help mitigate our response to stressors, which facilitates the achievement of homeostasis and, consequently, improved well-being.
CBD combats stress and its many side effects by interacting with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), which helps regulate numerous bodily functions and maintain the balance of the human body’s key functions. The ECS is linked to our nervous, endocrine, and immune systems, all of which are affected by stress.
Some adaptogens, such as reishi, are also believed to affect the endocannabinoid system, but most act on the adrenal system, which plays a major role in the body’s response to stress, pain, recovery, and sleep.
CBD capsules with specific formulations
Olah created 6 CBD capsule formulations with formulas designed for specific purposes. While CBD acts on the endocannabinoid system, the various blends of plants each trigger different responses.
To combat stress, cannabidiol is combined with blue lotus, cacao, and lavender. This blend of plants is an effective way to naturally combat stress. Lotus, which has a sedative effect, is combined with stimulating, fatigue-fighting cacao and antioxidant, soothing lavender to counteract stress signals and help the body cope with environmental factors that disrupt its proper functioning.
When it comes to sleep, Olah has opted for 5 mg of melatonin and 35 mg of CBD per capsule. The effects of melatonin—a natural hormone that helps regulate your body’s internal clock—enhance the effects of CBD, which promotes sleep by relaxing the body. The capsules’ sustained-release formula also helps manage sleep duration and prolong sleep by preventing unwanted awakenings. The melatonin content further compensates for the decrease in natural melatonin secretion and improves sleep quality.
As for pain, Olah capsules obviously won’t eliminate the underlying cause. But the combination of turmeric and CBD will help reduce inflammation and *reduce the sensation of pain*. Turmeric has been used for centuries in India for its healing properties, which include powerful anti-inflammatory effects. CBD also has anti-inflammatory properties. Together, these two substances form a powerful combination when it comes to relieving pain by reducing inflammation.
Olah also offers CBD capsules with various adaptogen blends designed to support concentration, immunity, or athletic recovery.
