MJBizCon, the cannabis mega-fair currently taking place in Las Vegas
While the American cannabis between optimism and uncertainty, the MJBizCon 2024 takes place from December 3 to 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Dubbed the «Super Bowl of Cannabis», the event is expecting over 30,000 attendees, 1,400 exhibitors and 200 speakers, with this year's edition promising to be the biggest and most significant yet.
12 years of growth
First launched in 2012 in Denver, Colorado, MJBizCon has evolved along with the’legal cannabis industry in United States. This inaugural conference took place just one day after Colorado voters approved the first legalization of adult-use cannabis in the country. Since then, the event has grown from hundreds of participants to tens of thousands, consolidating its status as a cornerstone of the industry.
Today, 74% of Americans live in States where cannabis is legal for both medical and recreational use, with nearly 15,000 dispensaries operating across the country. This widespread acceptance reinforces MJBizCon's relevance and influence as a gathering of entrepreneurs, innovators and decision-makers striving to advance the industry.
Educational opportunities
The event hosts a series of pre-show forums, focusing on topics such as finance, business marketing, psychedelics and the women's leadership. Over three days, a wide range of sessions will cover key aspects of running plant-related and ancillary businesses.
For those interested in scientific advances, the « The Voice of the Plant», by Sherbinski,will focus on the latest trends in genetics, breeding and cultivation, bridging the gap between the cannabis community and nature.
Networking and exhibitions
The vast exhibition hall includes pavilions dedicated to cultivation, processing, packaging, laboratory services, business services and retail.
For networking, MJBizCon has created areas such as The Joint Lounge and The Elevation Lounge, where over 20 brand stories and podcasts will be presented. Le Patio, offers a peaceful outdoor setting for informal exchanges.
The event will also focus on social equity, with Equity Row, a platform for businesses run by individuals or families affected by the war on drugs. Brands such as 40 Tones, Upling and Conbud take center stage.
Las Vegas comes alive at the same time with the Weed Week, a series of after-parties and affiliated events surrounding the main conference.
