Histoires de weed: Noman Hosni's legalization show in Montreal

We had already talked about his «Brèves de Pétard» Youtube channel» worth the detour. As planned, the comedian and cannabis ambassador gave his special Canadian legalization show in Montreal on October 17. He was finally able to realize his dream of smoking joints on stage and give a completely authentic performance. No need to hide, he's now in his natural habitat (the smoke), unabashedly «happy» or "frozen" as the Canadians would say.

The entire show is available on Youtube and if there's one thing I really appreciate about this show, apart from the humor, it's the completely relaxed atmosphere. No overexcited comedian churning out jokes at the speed of light, Noman takes his time and even takes a few breaks to check his files because, well yeah, he's freezing, so he forgot what he was saying. In fact, you really feel like you're chatting with a pal.

It all takes place in a small, intimate room, where everyone has their own table, ashtray and, of course, their own firecracker. In fact, the comedian not only lights his own joints on stage, but has taken care to offer pre-rolled firecrackers to his audience. Not to do so would have been «indecent» according to him, as weed is something to be shared.

On stage, he recounts his experiences with cannabis as «the first time cannabis penetrated his body» - or not at all in the way indicated, since, as a teenager and ignorant of the rolling technique, Noman actually crumbled half his pot stick into his canteen yoghurt. Yoghurt with pot, that's a concept... Anyway, it apparently makes maths lessons a lot more manageable. He then goes on to recount some of his misadventures with the police and other weed-related anecdotes, finally concluding with a few of his trademark bangers. A must-watch.
