5 cannabis strains that are hard to grow
Newer strains of cannabis are normally easier to grow, while older strains are easier to harvest. breeders selecting the plants most likely to flourish in the arms of novice growers. While today's technology makes it possible to regulate the temperature, humidity, aeration and acidity of a plantation, some older varieties are not so easily tamed.
Malawi Gold
Malawi Gold is one of the the rarest varieties in the world. This landrace from Malawi is considered one of the world's best Sativas. However, European climates do not match its identity. It therefore needs a dedicated growing room when not outdoors, with organic fertilizer. On average, this variety takes between 85 and 120 days to flower.
Dr Grinspoon
As the legal market turns more and more to hybrid varieties, let's pay tribute to Sativa varieties. The Dr Grinspoon is named after Harvard professor and pro-cannabis activist Dr. Lester Grinspoon. This strain was created by Barney's Farm in Amsterdam. It can be recognized by the strange structure of its resin-filled buds. Patience is also advised here: its flowering time is very long.
Thai Chocolate
Another sativa. This one comes from Californian breeder Darwoh. Some cannabis historians claim that the Thai landrace has disappeared. This Thai lover perpetuates his crops to make Thai Stick. The difficulty lies in maintenance and the time needed to flower (94 days). Its THC content is not excessive, but its relaxing effects will calm over-stressed people.
Colombian Gold
Colombian Gold is a Sativa that will bring back fond memories for smokers of the 70s. Native to the Santa Marta mountains in Colombia, it gave birth to the Skunk#1 which served as the basis for numerous hybrid varieties. As its name suggests, this variety likes tropical climates, which makes it particularly difficult to maintain. Flowers can be harvested after 70 to 90 days of ripening.
HeadBand
This variety is the daughter of’OG Kush and Sour Diesel. A potent THC strain with a high CBD content. HeadBand buds are small and you need to be an experienced grower to get a consistent yield.

n'importe quoi, la headbanger c'est récente ça doit avoir 3 ans max, le nom headband était utilisé en californie pour un cross de og x sour d bien avant, quand j'y étais en 2010 ça éxistait déjà depuis longtemps. Even dna genetics (via reserva privada) had their version of headband long before karma made headbanger, but basically the name was used in california for sour d x og crosses before all that.
Karma himself says «The Headbanger is my version of a headband type hybrid».»
and he's never made a headbanger F5 or a headband variety.

Not at all difficult to grow, simply difficult in view of the patience required for the many weeks of flowering.
