California: feminist cannabis camps

This camp promoting the benefits of cannabis is exclusively for women. Entitled Ganja Goddess Getaway, its objective is to connecting women, using cannabis. In particular, the aim is to empower women by using the plant as a creative and spiritual tool.

Several Ganja Goddess Getaway will be set up across the state of California this summer, from Pescadero to Palm Spring, in August and September. Each of these camps is designed to help women intensify their spirituality and enhance their creativity.

«The principle is to offer women a way to connect with their divine inspirations, all together, like sisters. And we feel that cannabis is ideal for accomplishing all of these things,» said Sailene Ossman, co-founder of Ganja Goddess Getaway, and presenter of Smoke in the kitchen, culinary program from MerryJane, Snoop Dogg's website.

The camps aim to foster love, friendship and the connections women have with themselves and the world around them. The camp's founders explain that cannabis is used as a powerful therapeutic tool which enhances spiritual practices.

«Cannabis helps us break down our walls and remove our masks so that we can love and care for our most authentic selves,» explain the founders of Ganja Goddess Getway. A transformative medium that can expand among friends, families and around the world. A kind of cannabis yoga to help women clear their heads and create a women's cannabis movement.

The right vacation influence physical and mental morale. «It's important to engage in multiple leisure activities, both as a way to enjoy everyday life more, but also to have a positive influence on health and relieve stress,» explains Karen Matthews, a member of the Mind-Body Center from the University of Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania).

Some celebrities will be attending these cannabis camps, including Miley Cyrus who will be one of the guests of honor, even though she recently stopped using cannabis.
