Happy new year 2018 on newsweed.co.uk!
The entire Newsweed team wishes you a happy 2018.
Our year in 2017 was marked by several firsts: the first Cannabis News In France, “wake & bake” events at Spannabis and Expogrow, our participation in the World Cannabis March, the first Technigrow in Paris… and a few exclusive stories that confirmed the importance of having a media outlet dedicated to cannabis in France.
In 2018, we will strive to meet the challenge of ensuring the long-term viability of our operations and to offer you new editorial formats—and perhaps even new products.
We would also like to thank you for your loyalty, your comments, your feedback, and all the direct and indirect support you have given us. More than 3 million of you visited us in 2017, an increase of 65% compared to 2016. It was a great year for Newsweed, and we couldn’t run this site without you, so thank you!
More broadly, we hope that this year will bring about change in how cannabis is treated in France, particularly with regard to its users and growers—and especially those who use it for medical purposes. We will closely follow developments regarding the reclassification of cannabis as a misdemeanor offense—a move that could be either a step forward or a step backward—and we hope that rational decisions will be made.
But above all, we wish you a very happy new year.
The Newsweed Team.
