Xzibit opens its cannabis dispensary in Bel Air
Rapper Xzibit recently opened his cannabis dispensary, West Coast Cannabis (XWCC), in the upscale Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles. Strategically located near the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), XWCC aims to be more than just a dispensary—it’s a celebration of the West Coast lifestyle.

West Coast
«The West Coast is more than just a term describing where we live; it represents the culture of everything that defines us. From entertainment to our beloved sports teams, to our car culture, our neighborhoods, and our beaches—we are proud members of this community, and the XWCC is a celebration of all of these things,» said Xzibit.
«We are honored to be able to open our doors in such a special place, and we invite everyone to come celebrate the West Coast with us.»
The opening of the clinic—the only one in Bel Air—was marked by an inauguration ceremony at 4:20 p.m. and a lively neighborhood festival, symbolizing the fusion of entertainment, community, and Cannabis.
XWCC’s approach goes beyond business and emphasizes community engagement. Xzibit’s team has partnered with local institutions such as UCLA, offering students a 60% discount on high-end products—a gesture aimed at easing the financial burden in a state known for its high cost of living.
XWCC isn’t just a dispensary; it also reflects Xzibit’s journey from music to entrepreneurship. As stated on its website, «XWCC is the culmination of a journey marked by passion, commitment, and excellence.».
A Multifaceted Entrepreneur
This isn't Xzibit's first foray into the cannabis industry. He is also the creator of the «Lasagna Ganja» podcast, which explores the Cannabis alongside influencer Tammy The Cannabis Cutie. The goal of this podcast was to eliminate the stigma associated with cannabis use and to educate listeners.
He had also been a member of the « Up in Smoke Tour »with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and other West Coast rap icons.".
In a 2019 interview with High Times, Xzibit spoke about his transition from traditional vices, such as hard liquor—which were hindering his productivity—to a more balanced lifestyle centered on Cannabis.
