Take part in the International Questionnaire on Cannabis Cultivation
An investigation into cannabis cultivation is underway in France. Led by the Global Cannabis Cultivation Research Consortium (GCCRC), it is the result of the work of an international team of researchers from 16 different countries who are collaborating to understand domestic cannabis cultivation, excluding the hemp.
«We're not botanists; we're social scientists,», explains Daniel Bear, a professor at Humber College in Toronto and the lead researcher for the Canadian portion of the study.
«We want to understand the story behind how people grow the Cannabis. How, why, and in what way do you grow cannabis? What motivates you? What do you do with the cannabis? »
The GCCRC aims to understand practices and experiences in order to provide realistic and up-to-date information that leads to policy reform and, ultimately, legalization. In this sense, the survey is an important way for producers to make their voices heard.
«This is an opportunity to give cannabis growers a voice. Under prohibition, they were targeted, and now that it’s legal, they’re largely ignored. There’s no support for cannabis growers; it’s as if they’d been told, »Okay, here are four plants—go ahead and do whatever you want with them.’”

Security and Anonymity
Participation in the study is completely anonymous. No personally identifiable information or IP addresses will be collected that could be used to link you to the data you submit.
The GCCRC has implemented a code of best practices if you need to take a few precautions.
The previous study, conducted in 2012, drew on contributions from more than 6,500 farmers worldwide. 18 scientific articles then contributed to combat stereotypes about cannabis growers
