Mango Haze

🌿 mango 🍊 orange
📖 Description

Mango Haze is a tasty and popular variety that offers as much power as it does flavour. Created by Mr Nice Seeds, the Dutch creators of the Super Silver Haze, and is a cross between Northern Lights #5, the Skunk and the Haze. The complex genetic combination produces a refreshing tropical aroma and a powerful, dreamlike high. Mango Haze's potency ranges from 9% to 19% THC.

Appearance, aroma and flavour of Mango Haze

Mango Haze is an immediate eye-catcher with its large, elongated flowers, rather like oversized pine cones. The leaves conform to the characteristic structure of sativa buds - they appear loose and chunky, and can be easily plucked from their central stems.

These soft, downy leaves are a vibrant spring green, with yellow and orange hairy pistils running through them. Translucent amber trichomes cover all leaf surfaces, giving the flowers a slightly golden sheen.

When properly dried, Mango Haze flowers give off a strong citrus scent. Distinct notes of mango predominate, as well as a sweet, almost fermented odor. When crushed, Mango Haze flowers give off a rich, spicy incense, probably transmitted by the Afghan landrace of the Northern Lights parent strain. When burned in a pipe or joint, Mango Haze produces a smooth, pleasant-tasting smoke, both sweet and minty on exhale.

Effects of Mango Haze

Mango Haze offers a slow, creeping high that can take several minutes after consumption to reveal its trippy effects. Eventually, smokers will begin to feel a concerted pressure around the eyes and forehead. As they adjust to this strange sensation, they may notice changes in their sensory perception, including an amplified awareness of certain sights and sounds; a strange sensation of time dilation is also commonly reported. Haze is reputed to produce a strong, dreamy head feeling.

This state of mind can give rise to a rambunctious, overflowing creativity that can be excellent for brainstorming, but not so good for more task-oriented, analytical work. In the right configuration, Mango Haze can also trigger gentle introspection. For the consumer in a more active mood, Mango Haze provides the energy needed to brighten up everyday tasks such as cleaning the house or running errands.

As the high progresses, subtle indica effects appear at the end of the mouth, numbing any bodily tension and allowing deep, easy breathing. Such a state of mind can help smokers blend into their surroundings as the outside world fades into the background.

Although unlikely to knock users out completely, Mango Haze can help soothe any internal mental or physical stress. Because it tapers off into a gentle, descending high, Mango Haze is best enjoyed in the late afternoon or early evening.

The balanced effects of Mango Haze may also have several applications for patients who consume cannabis for medical purposes. The strain's mood-elevating properties can temporarily relieve stress and depression. In addition, its subtle physical effect can provide mild relief from deep aches and pains, as well as everyday irritations such as headaches and nausea. Because it is unlikely to provoke the kind of intense, recurring thoughts that lead to paranoia, Mango Haze may be a good choice for patients who are prone to panic or have a low tolerance to THC.
