Sensi Seeds launches a new generation of cannabis strains
Sensi Seeds, the most famous Dutch seed bank, is launching a new initiative: the Sensi Seeds Research. This latest branch of the company is dedicated to the creation of new cannabis varieties, in collaboration with the cannabic community.
Eleven new varieties of cannabis seeds
The Sensi Seeds Research presents eleven varieties of cannabis seeds. New cannabis cultivars have been painstakingly bred from varieties in Sensi Seeds' renowned gene bank.
For the first time in 36 years, the company is involving the cannabis community in its R&D by inviting them to select and name three varieties that it believes should become permanent fixtures in the seed catalog.
«We are very curious to discover the names of the varieties that will inspire these new tastes and aromas,» explains David Duclos of the team. Sensi Seeds Research. «We trust your expertise».
The best of the old and new worlds
The new cannabis strains are derived from historical cultivars from the Sensi Seed bank. which opened its Barcelona Club in 2024 - such as Silver Haze® and Black Domina®, as well as tried-and-tested varieties that have emerged in recent years. The breeders of Sensi Seeds Research chose American strains with exceptional potency and aroma, such as Chocolope and Fire OG, and selected others with high CBD ratios, such as Harlequin and Swiss Dream.
Another new feature is that seeds will be offered in individual packs, in addition to the usual packs of three, five and ten seeds.
The eleven varieties of Sensi Seeds Research are available on the Sensi Seeds website.
