In New York, space cookies replace rosé
The cookie spaces are reportedly all the rage at New York's high-society parties right now.
According to the New York Post, the plant’s diabolical image has faded, and its trendy appeal has completely taken over in recent years. Jeri, who runs a food and drink stand at upscale parties in New York, has noticed the change: «Before, when I’d hand someone a space cake, they’d give me dirty looks; now, those same people are getting high on it.» ” At her stand, she offers appetizers, alcoholic cocktails, weed, pipes, and cannabis-infused products.
«People get bored without it.«
Infused products are all the rage among the elite, according to another source working in the fashion industry: «Top CEOs, as ranked by Fortune magazine, are fighting over space cake. »In the evening, it’s become the first thing we hand out… People get bored without it.” Kind of like George Christopher in *Bored to Death*.
This witness is also an occasional drug dealer. She’s a new kind of dealer, though, because she sources her supplies in Colorado and transports her merchandise back to New York by private jet—a method reminiscent of that used by the Green Angels. She even finds it amusing how amateurish some people are when it comes to their consumption: »When you eat a THC-infused chocolate bar, one or two squares are enough to get you pretty high after an hour or two. But since they don’t get «high» right away, they keep taking more and more. Then you see them all out of it, unable to move.» She adds, «In the winter, people go into the bathroom to vaporize cannabis. That way, they get high but with minimal odor.».
Cannabis use is tolerated in New York on private property. However, its possession and distribution for commercial purposes are completely illegal.
