Emerald Cup and Product Earth Expo-Fest announce partnership for unique event

Two major events in the cannabis world, the Emerald Cup and the Product Earth Expo-Fest, have announced their partnership to create a unique festival, which will take place in England from August 23 to 25.

Based in California, the Emerald Cup is an annual competition that honors the region’s best cannabis growers and artisans; it has earned an international reputation and is sometimes referred to as «the Oscars of cannabis.» The Product Earth Expo-Fest describes itself as «the only event in the United Kingdom featuring hemp, CBD, and cannabis,» and is committed to highlighting the cannabis plant and its therapeutic benefits.

For three days, festivalgoers will be able to enjoy a wide range of activities, from workshops and conferences to demonstrations on all things cannabis. Experts in various fields will lead these workshops, including professionals in CBD extraction and processing, as well as experts in hempcrete construction. The talks will focus on the legalization of medical cannabis around the world and the potential applications of cannabis in the medical field.  CBD products provided by the Emerald Cup will also be available.

«Alongside the rise of pro-cannabis and hemp activism, we wanted to partner with a group that shares the Emerald Cup’s philosophy of protecting the Earth and raising global awareness of the healing powers of the cannabis plant,» said Emerald Cup founder Tim Blake. «We believe that the best way for cannabis to continue to gain acceptance in our societies is through education. We hope this experience can help dispel negative stereotypes associated with the cannabis industry.»

London recently hosted the London Cannabis Film Festival (LCLL) which offered filmmakers an international platform to discuss this ancient plant, its uses, and our future with it.
