New study confirms that cannabis makes sex better
Recent scientific studies confirm what many cannabis users have long claimed: cannabis enhances sexual relations.
According to a study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine (JSM) and titled «The Relationship Between Cannabis Use and Sexual Frequency in the United States: A Population-Based Study,» cannabis users reportedly have sex more often than non-users.
The study’s findings revealed that «cannabis use is independently associated with an increase in sexual frequency and does not appear to impair sexual function.» Specifically, daily users reportedly have sex 20% more often than people who have never used cannabis.
The study aimed to «determine whether there was a relationship between cannabis use and sexual activity using a representative sample of the reproductive-age population.» A total of 28,176 women and 22,943 men were surveyed.
A study This study sought to determine whether cannabis use before sex affects the sexual experience, to what extent, and which sexual functions are affected.
In this study, researchers surveyed 133 sexually active women about their use of cannabis before sex. 29% of the women reported using it, and 68% of these women reported greater pleasure, 16% reported a disastrous experience, and 16% were undecided.
On the other hand, no study has concluded that cannabis improves sexual performance.
