DarDar: 1st marketplace for CBD delivery in less than 1 hour in major French cities

How to have your CBD delivered to your home or office in less than 1 hour? DarDar, a marketplace of over 1,000 specialist stores, is now offering express delivery of CBD products from these stores, in less than an hour and by bike, in 12 of France's biggest cities. The aim is to become the Deliveroo of cannabis.

The DarDar project responds both to a growing demand for express delivery and to an old habit of cannabis consumers: to have their product delivered quickly to their home. The fast delivery service is accessible to anyone over 18, and is aimed primarily at people who have already experimented with CBD and don't necessarily feel the need for in-store advice.

«We're currently expanding into CBD, since that's what's currently legal in France. But, of course, we already have an eye on the other side of the Atlantic, where cannabis delivery, in Canada or in the American states where cannabis is legal, is an integral part of the various regulatory models, with very strict conditions for obtaining a license and distribution to adults,» explains founder Cédric Billot.

«By launching DarDar, we are also betting on the legalization of cannabis in France and hope to have a place there.»

Geolocation, purchasing, delivery

The procedure could not be simpler: the customer logs on to the dardar.io. They are then geolocated and offered a choice of partner stores for express delivery within a 15km radius. Once they've made their choice, they place their order. The order is sent to the store and picked up by a courier, who delivers the order to the customer in less than an hour.

More than 30 stores are now DarDar partners, in the following cities: Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Strasbourg, Lille, Nantes, Rennes, Nancy and Metz. Here you'll find your favorite brands such as High Society, CBD Shop France and CBDeau, Cebedia or Flowers Power.

The cost of delivery charged to the customer is between €2.90 and €9.90, depending on the distance between the store and the customer's home.
