Phenotype
The visible characteristics or traits of a plant, such as the color of its leaves, the density of the trichomes, the structure of the flowers, the thickness of the stem, and the length between the nodes.
ADVERTISING
The growing environment, the inputs provided, and the genotype of a particular cultivar influence a plant’s phenotype. Selective breeding of cannabis is often referred to as « phenotype hunting«, because farmers are looking for varieties with the desired physical characteristics.
