Cannabis legalized in Florida and Nebraska in 2022?
The latest legalizations of cannabis in the United States give ideas to countries that have not yet taken the plunge.
Nebraska(p) or not cap
Nebraska senators have announced that they are drafting an initiative to legalize cannabis for adult use for the upcoming November 2022 vote.
The campaign, which is already gathering signatures for a separate measure to legalize medical cannabis, announced on Saturday that it would publish wording to add the recreational dimension by January.
We will collect signatures for both medical and adult use, and work to have both on the ballot in 2022. We can't do it without your continued support!

The Nebraskans for Medical Cannabis had qualified a measure to legalize medical cannabis on the November ballot this year. But the State Supreme Court overturned it following a technical challenge to the project presentation.
And if the intention for 2022 was first to legalize medical cannabis, the campaign announced in a mail sent to supporters that she was motivated to pursue broader reform on adult cannabis use, especially in light of what has happened in South Dakota last month, and with the vote in favor of the Federal legalization of cannabis by the House of Representatives of the United States.
The proposed regulations for the two cannabis programs are not yet known.
Florida intends to put pressure on its governor
Several amendments to legalize cannabis in Florida are likely to come to a vote in 2022.
Nick Hansen, who has joined Med Men in 2019 and who previously worked for the Florida Senate, advocates the state legalizing cannabis on its own rather than leaving the subject to popular referendum.
«There's an economic need for it. People understand that it's a tremendous economic driver in those states that have implemented it correctly and well. And it can really bring revenue to those states for things like education,» Hansen said.
Current polls suggest that two-thirds of voters support cannabis legalization in Florida.
«The trend is increasingly favorable,» said Sen. Jeff Brandes.
In fact, Brandes has introduced a bill to bypass referendums and legalize cannabis by January 2022.
«The way you convince your colleagues is to sit down with them and say, guys, we can either take care of this at our level or let the people of the state of Florida do it via a constitutional amendment,» Brandes said.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has repeatedly stated his opposition to cannabis legalization.
«Nevertheless, I think the governor will have to deal with this. Whether it's today or in 2022, when he'll have four years to implement it,» Brandes said.
The associations Sensitive Florida and Make it Legal Florida, They have already proposed cannabis legalization initiatives. They have already proposed cannabis legalization initiatives and are now awaiting a decision from the Florida Supreme Court as to whether their initiatives will make it to the 2022 ballot.
