Getting the Most Out of a Smoking Session with Friends

Getting high with friends is a great way to bond beyond your love for cannabis. But rather than falling into the stereotype of the slumped-over, lazy stoner, spice things up with some cannabis-infused group games. The secret, of course, is knowing which games to play—and that’s where this article comes in. All the games listed below will enhance one of the qualities of your favorite weed while ensuring everyone has a great time.

The Best Games to Play While High with Friends

With a game for every occasion, the list below features the very best when it comes to smoking with friends.

Bang Pong

A classic party game that brings people together all over the world. The difference is that in this game, you add a few gaskets freshly rolled. By lining up several plastic cups at each end of a long table, the goal is to bounce a ping-pong ball so that it lands in a cup on your opponent’s side.

Every time you win, you get to light up a joint, while your opponent has to drink the contents of the glass. Play with beer if you’re feeling adventurous, or with non-alcoholic drinks if you’re being sensible. Either way, you’re in for a trip!

UNO Comic Strip

What’s a night of weed and games without a little nudity? Nothing. But just taking your clothes off isn’t all that fun. Instead, combine the Holy Trinity of stoners: weed, nudity, and UNO. Yep, that good old card game just got taken to the next level. There are different ways to play, but to keep it simple, whoever wins a round can ask another player to take off a piece of clothing. Keep going until you don’t dare go any further!

Jellyfish

Medusa might seem like a simple game, but there’s nothing quite like staring into the eyes of a fellow stoner, yelling “Medusa,” and smoking a joint. The game works best with 6 or more players, in which case you’ll need to form a circle.

Everyone sits down facing the center of the circle, eyes fixed on their feet. The game leader counts to three, and then everyone looks up and locks eyes with another player. If your gaze meets another person’s, the first one to shout «Medusa» gets to take a drag from a joint. If you don’t make eye contact, then you’re in the clear and the game can continue until the next round.

I have already, I have never

What better way to reveal your funniest secrets than with a good round of «I’ve Done, I’ve Never Done»? Everyone will need a little weed, so make sure the joints are rolled and the bongs are filled. The game master starts by making a statement about something they’ve done or haven’t done, such as: «I’ve smoked/I’ve never smoked a joint I found on the ground.».

If that's true for you too, then you have to smoke. Otherwise, everything's fine for you—no need to smoke. Then it's the next person's turn to make another statement, and so on. The game can go on for as long as you like!

Aqua

Aqua is a great game for getting really high. The goal is to fill the room with as much weed smoke as possible. The person who stays in the room the longest wins—simple as that. Unless you have a ton of weed to burn, choose a small room like a bathroom or a small office. Aqua is really fun when everyone has their joint, bong, or blunt ready to light up. Whether you’re at home or in a car (parked, of course!), have fun!
