Nike brings out two of its hemp classics
Nike's «Move to Zero» collection aims for «zero carbon, zero waste.» As part of this collection, the Swoosh brand is unveiling two iconic classics, both made from hemp and made from recycled materials: the Nike Air Force 1 Low «Hemp» and the Nike Blazer Mid «Hemp».
The Air Force 1, featuring touches of orange, green, blue, and pale yellow, is a perfect fit for the 1982 classic designed by Bruce Kilgore. Swoosh logos appear on the outer and inner sides, while other details include the line-specific «Hemp» branding on the tongues and a speckled sole that wraps around the classic Air Force cushioning.

The second model is the Blazer Mid, which features a more neutral look with much of the shoe in white. Blue, orange, and yellow accents add to the design, with special HEMP branding on the tongues, embroidered logos on the heels, and blue Swoosh logos on both sides.

Both models will be available in limited editions in the coming weeks on Nike’s website, which is no stranger to this kind of release with hemp Dunk Lows already on sale for April 20 😉
Other brands like Puma are also jumping on the bandwagon with eco-friendly and biodegradable shoes.
