England's Finest... Original Cheese needs no introduction. It's a classic, home-grown English variety that has given new meaning to the word pungent.
Originally developed in the UK in the 1980s, Cheese had a brief run on the Amsterdam cafe scene before the invasion of Super-Skunk. It disappeared but returned in the 1990s, widely believed to have been developed by Exodus, a legendary British collective famous for its underground parties.
You'll notice that we call ours the Original Cheese (IBL), because that's what it is. In 2003, thanks to the good fortune and generosity of an acquaintance in London, we negotiated an original female Cheese clone ourselves. We intended to cross it with other varieties, but in the end, it's a classic that deserves to be preserved in its purest form.
The lineage is strong with this one. From the original clone, we've created a plant that retains all its best qualities with added benefits: increased stability, more potency and finished yield potential. As the grower would expect, this is a plant that reliably delivers a product with unrivalled smell and taste.
Part of the Cheese variety's popularity lies in its adaptability, allowing for consistent consistency when grown indoors or out. Expect this plant to be massive, with huge buds that reach levels other Skunks can't.
