How to choose a bong?
Are you looking to buy a new bong? Whether your current bong is broken, you're tired of cleaning it, or you just want a better or more modern one, any reason is a good one.
Choosing a bong, on the other hand, can be tricky. It There are all kinds of them : glass, plastic, ceramic, or wood. Glass is the classic material for bongs. Plastic bongs are the least expensive and work just as well. Ceramic bongs often come in wild, psychedelic shapes, while wooden bongs (often made of bamboo) are durable yet green.
The first question to ask yourself is: How will you use your bong? We know the obvious answer, but more specifically: In what setting will you use it? How many times a week? Will you be the only one using it? Will you take it with you when you travel? How often will you Clean Your Bong ? All of these factors should help you make your decision, whether this is your first or your tenth bong.
By the way, if this is your first bong, be sure to take your lung capacity into account. If you buy a multi-chamber bong or one that’s too big to clear in a single go, you probably won’t be satisfied. If you can’t fill the bong with smoke, you’re not maximizing its potential. And if, on the other hand, you fill it but can’t empty it, you’ll end up taking a second hit with smoke that’s less fresh and often tastes worse.
In terms of design, bongs with a slightly twisted shape will be harder to clean. Large bongs are more likely to break. They take up more space and should therefore be stored away from any activity to reduce the chance of them falling.
If you're very careful and you'll be the only one using your bong, you might want to go for more «technical» bongs, which offer clean hits and maximum absorption of THC. These pieces are often collectible glass items and look more like a chemistry flask than a plastic bottle bong—Velleda.
The plastic bangs They may not be as classy, but they work just as well. The weed’s flavor is certainly less pure than with a glass bong, but a plastic bong can be taken anywhere without the risk of breaking. Some are even foldable for easier transport.
Ceramic bongs are generally small and heavier than their counterparts. Manufacturers may give them unique shapes (mushrooms, gnomes, dragons, etc.), though this can make them a bit harder to clean afterward. The biggest drawback of ceramic bongs is that you can’t see the water level inside. It’s hard to tell if the water starts to get dirty or not.
Wooden bongs are more authentic and are traditionally used in Thailand and Jamaica. They are durable and sturdy, and can be decorated with woodblock prints.
What about you, Newsweed?
As for us, our final choice was a Cheech and Chong glass bong, the Low Rider. The brand’s Tommy Chong crafted this 23-centimeter bong out of diesel-tinted glass, shaped like a beaker and featuring a « ice pinch »which allows you to put ice cubes in the bong's stem to cool the smoke. The mouthpiece is angled, which also keeps you from having to lean over too much.".
We had fallen in love with the Cheech and Chong brand We’ve had it for a little while now, and we’ve definitely been impressed by both the quality of the bong and the attention to detail in its finish. The LowRider comes in its own psychedelic, L.A.-style packaging. Not only is it stylish, but it’s also effective—and that’s what we’re looking for most of all in a bong.
