Cannabis CBD at Aldi

From October 24, people visiting their local Aldi supermarket will be able to accompany their butter packet with a CBD cannabis plant. The retailer is offering for sale a batch of CBD cannabis for indoor ornamental use and more, while stocks last, at €9.10 per plant.

The plant is between 30 and 35cm tall, is sold in a 13cm diameter pot and is a CBD-rich variety that will produce less than 1% of THC, which makes it completely legal in Switzerland, where the production and sale of CBD flowers, the famous cannabis light, have become a flourishing industry in recent years.

Aldi is not the only chain to sell cannabis in Switzerland. Lidl sells CBD cannabis direct for smoking. In France, we have already seen Cannabis Sativa L. plants. in garden centers and a LED panel sold by Auchan presumably for cannabis cultivation.
