OCB breaks the world record for the most joints lit at the same time
Last Saturday, a new chapter was added to the history of cannabis.
During an epic event, 7,000 people lit their joints at the same time, breaking the world record for the largest number of joints lit simultaneously.
The event took place during the Hall of Flowers festival in Santa Rosa, California, one of the cannabis industry’s most important trade shows, which was already in full swing. But it was this moment that stole the show.
The feat was captured from the air by drones as smoke rose into the sky in perfect synchronization, marking a historic moment for cannabis culture. «The energy was electric, the atmosphere was unmatched, and it was incredible to see everyone come together to break this record,» said Rama Mayo, co-founder of the Hall of Flowers, describing the magic of the day.
This record not only marked a turning point in the fair’s history, but also highlighted the growing presence of cannabis in popular culture.
OCB Rolling Papers, the brand behind the record and the supplier of the rolling papers—which are made in France—played a key role in achieving this feat.
«OCB has been the preferred rolling paper of connoisseurs for generations,» explains Andrew Osterman, the brand’s marketing director.
«Our papers are designed to enhance the natural flavor of the smoke, and the Hall of Flowers was the perfect place to celebrate the art of rolling and the ritual of a good joint.”.
The festival, which drew more than 13,000 people and 300 exhibitors, was a day filled with live music, food trucks, immersive experiences, and product demonstrations. Among the highlights was the trade show OCB in collaboration with Houseplanat Seth Rogen's event, where attendees had the chance to try out the new line of rolling papers and smoking accessories.

Rama Mayo, clearly enthusiastic, also emphasized the significance of this record: «This record isn’t just about numbers. It’s about community, unity, and a shared love for the plant. We’ve made history together.»
The world record set at the Hall of Flowers will be remembered not only as a unique event, but also as a testament to the power of cannabis culture to bring people together and push the boundaries of what is possible.
