Fluence announces new product features for its RAZR Modular System
Fluence's optimized LED lighting solution is now available in an IP67-rated sealed configuration, with seven spectrum options, offering operators of all sizes greater flexibility to customize their controlled environments.
AUSTIN, Texas-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Fluence by OSRAM (Fluence), a leading global provider of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions for commercial cannabis and food production, has announced new product features for its award-winning RAZR Modular System, as well as seven total spectrum options, and an easy-to-clean IP67 waterproof model that works effortlessly near irrigation systems.
The RAZR Modular System is designed for high-performance vertical operations, and suitable for full-cycle cultivation. The luminaire's 6- and 8-inch (15- and 20-centimeter) lightbar spacing allows easy integration into a multitude of vertical installations, with several flexible mounting options for various crops. The system also meets IP67 standards, confirming its ability to tolerate the humid conditions present in a vertical growing environment. A protective lens shields the LEDs from water, without interfering with light output. The industry-standard 0-10V native light modulation interface enables seamless integration of brightness control, with several wired and wireless connection accessories also saving effort.
The optimized RAZR Modular System achieves industry-leading efficiency of up to 3.5 µmol/J, and is now available in seven total light spectrum options, including the acclaimed PhysioSpec™ BROAD White R3a spectrum, Fluence's leading spectrum for leafy green plant cultivation and crop propagation. The RAZR Modular System's new spectrum options include the BROAD R6 spectrum, which offers a solid balance of performance and efficiency for plant development, as well as monochromatic red and far-red spectra, which growers can use to influence specific morphological characteristics.
«The future of advanced cultivation lies in verticality, and customizing the lighting strategy of a growing environment to the unique life cycle of each plant variety is synonymous with successful cultivation,» said David Cohen, CEO of Fluence. «The new features of our RAZR Modular System allow growers to modify lighting strategies for each stage of plant development, as well as identify best practices for producing fresh, consistent harvests for a multitude of varieties. Fluence's LED lighting technologies give horticultural innovators optimized, versatile solutions that meet their specific production goals.»
The RAZR Modular System won the inaugural «Vertical Farming World Award» for best lighting design in 2021. To find out more about the RAZR Modular System and Fluence's extensive range of LED solutions, visit www.fluence.science.
