Post-cannabis cravings boost fast-food sales in the U.S. American states where it is legal.
It is not uncommon to’be hungry after consuming cannabis. According to a study from Green Market Report and Consumer Research Around Cannabis, Cannabis dispensary customers frequently pass through a fast-food chain.
43% of legal cannabis users ate at McDonald's in the 4 weeks preceding the survey. 18% at Taco Bell, and 17.8% at Wendy's. These results were significantly higher than among respondents who had not visited a dispensary.
The survey was conducted online among 27500 people. Other restaurant chains cited included Burger King and KFC.
When the survey results were announced, the fast-food chains cited were all up on the Dow Jones index.
