A giant vaping bar has opened in Canada
An almost 600m² vaping lounge for medical patients recently opened in Canada, and has been welcoming an average of 110 users a day ever since, according to its owners.
Higher Limit, located in Windsor, Ontario, requires 5$ to enter the lounge. He also rents and sells vaporizers and other accessories on site, as well as food in case of cravings, co-owner Jon Liedtke reported to National Post.

Accessories sold on site
Liedtke also says that he opened Higher Limits to give patients a public place to legally consume medical cannabis. He adds that the vaping bar will help reduce the stigma surrounding cannabis. Some of his customers are indeed mocked for their medical use of cannabis, It would never occur to anyone to laugh at someone who needs insulin to live comfortably.
The space reserved for people over 18 years of age does not sell cannabis, alcohol or tobacco. The purchase, sale or exchange of cannabis between consumers is also strictly forbidden. Legally, it's simply a place where holders of a medical cannabis card can bring and consume their medicine.

Volcano self-service
Liedtke has thus created a cannabic community center, while anticipating the legalization of recreational cannabis, as has advanced Justin Trudeau.
The bar, the largest of its kind in Canada, targets patients with permission to grow and consume their own medical cannabis. But Liedtke also acknowledges that recreational users can enter without his knowledge.
Under Canada's health privacy laws, consumers are not obliged to share their medical information. The staff at Higher Limits does not have the right to ask for patient cards.
