News from the ALGREEN Group’s Subsidiaries and Plans for a Public Offering
LYON, France–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Regulatory News:
ALGREEN (Euronext Growth Paris, Ticker: ALGRE – ISIN: FR001400IV58), a French company specializing in the production and distribution of premium food products, announced today plans to open up the capital of its subsidiaries to industrial partners to support their growth in France and Europe.
WHITE TOQUES OF THE WORLD:
Throughout 2023, the company continued to grow by listing its various products in the Proxi Casino chain, which now has more than 154 retail locations. All contracts with major retailers have been renewed for 2024, with the addition of new product listings.
It also posted outstanding results in national market surveys for these cured meat products, with volume growth of +13.4% and a DN of +3.
LES TOQUES BLANCHES DU MONDE will also begin a partnership with the restaurant industry by launching a new line of innovative and traditional premium products in 2024.
Early in 2024, the company will also be recognized for its sourcing excellence, with its Paleta Portuguesa product named «Flavor of the Year» for 2024 by a panel of consumers.
UFF VILLEFRANCHE:
The company hired a sales manager at the end of 2023 to strengthen its traditional business segment (hospitality and specialty retail).
All contracts with major retailers have been renewed for 2024, with the introduction of new products. The company will begin selling its products through the Migros France group early this year.
UFF is considering a partnership with an industrial partner to increase its production and secure its supply of raw materials in light of its expansion in Europe and overseas.
To enhance its brand awareness and image, the company will change its name. A communications plan will be implemented throughout the year.
ALGREEN plans to open up the capital of its two subsidiaries, LES TOQUES BLANCHES DU MONDE and UNIS FISH & FOOD, in order to form an industrial capital alliance to serve future markets and pool the various costs associated with its business.
NAKA:
After the administration denied its request for a preliminary injunction to suspend the suspension, NAKA is required to suspend the sale of its CBD-based products pending the issuance of the Novel Food regulation in Europe. To minimize the costs associated with this suspension, ALGREEN has decided to place the company on hiatus until an alternative product and a viable solution for the subsidiary can be found.
By the end of 2023, NAKA had listed its products at Intermarché, Auchan, Migros, Monoprix, Franprix, and Système U, and had established an industrial partnership in Spain.
Our Identity:
The ALGREEN Group, a French company specializing in the food industry and distribution, focuses on a multi-faceted agri-food business model. Its strategy is to integrate companies, industries, and brands into a single group, while prioritizing traditional and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.
Our goal is to become a major player in the food industry for consumers while respecting the environment, health, and «locally made» products.
