American scientists invent a detox kit to eliminate THC from the body in 2 days
The American company Green Gone LLC has developed a detox kit to eliminate THC from the body in two, five or ten days. This product has been designed for people who need to take drug tests. The persistence of THC in the body varies according to individual factors such as weight, body fat, but above all consumption (frequency and quantity). Smoking can be detected in saliva, blood, urine and hair up to a month after the last cigarette is taken, for the heaviest smokers.
The product's promotion emphasizes its scientific aspect. It was created by pharmacologists who have been working for two years on a formula to speed up the body's elimination of THC. This is a complex process: THC itself remains in the body for only a few hours. However, when metabolized by the liver, it becomes THC-COOH and in this form remains much longer. Screening tests look for both forms of THC. The formula for Green Gone Detox ensures an elimination rate of 215% to 330%, much faster than normal.
Composition
The kit Green Gone is designed to drastically speed up the body's elimination of THC metabolites. It's a mixture of substances designed to stimulate liver activity, reduce the molecular bond between THC and certain proteins, and increase urine pH. All these processes increase the concentration of metabolites in the urine. At the same time, urine production is stimulated and, ultimately, THC elimination is accelerated. «There's no magic potion; it's just science».» explains Andrew the company's sales manager.
The product therefore contains :
- perforated St. John's wort THC: this plant stimulates the release of enzymes by the liver. It doubles the activity of the enzymes responsible for metabolizing THC into soluble THC-COOH, which is then eliminated via the urine. By assimilating THC more rapidly, elimination is also accelerated.
- horsetail extract: a natural diuretic.
- sodium bicarbonate : contributes to the increase in urine pH. THC-COOH has the same pH as urine. As urine pH rises, the ionization of metabolites (THC-COOH) is stimulated, making them more soluble and therefore more easily eliminated by the kidneys.
- white willow extract (15%): THC-COOH naturally binds to albumin protein at a rate of 95-99%. Once bound, it cannot be eliminated renally, as the protein is too large to penetrate the renal membrane. White willow contains salicylic acid, structurally similar to THC metabolites. This binds to the albumin protein instead of THC-COOH, in a «competitive bond». The THC metabolite, detached from albumin, can then be eliminated normally by the kidneys or intestine.
- Psyllium husks Half of THC is excreted via the intestine. By adding a source of fiber, THC is even more absorbed by the intestines and therefore not reabsorbed elsewhere in the metabolism.
The product
Several formulas are available, ranging from 2, 5 to 10 days. An online test helps customers determine which formula is best suited to their age, gender, weight, consumption and abstinence period. The product comes in the form of vegetarian capsules to be taken three times a day. It is accompanied by dietary and sports recommendations. Prices range from 70$ to 150$, and it's also possible to buy medical-precision screening tests to do at home.
On its website, The company claims to have carried out real-life tests on cannabis users and established a database of product efficacy estimated at 100%. The time taken to detect cannabis is cut in half, or even more, compared with the body's natural elimination rate. This product is aimed in particular at regular smokers who get a new job and have to undergo screening tests, or for patients treating themselves with medical cannabis but who for one reason or another have to undergo a test.
