Rainbow raises €1 million for its launch and aims to become Europe's leading hemp producer
Rainbow, a French startup founded in 2019 by five experienced entrepreneurs, has raised 1 million euros from private investors to tackle the scourge of our time: stress. This has led to the launch of two wellness brands, Kaya and Peace & Skin, designed to help people relax using the benefits of hemp and other adaptogenic plants.
Highly eco-friendly (it requires little water and no pesticides) and grown just 45 minutes from Paris, hemp is a major agricultural opportunity for France, which is Europe’s leading producer and the world’s third-largest producer. By investing in this plant of the future, Rainbow also aims to help change its legal status.
The five partners have announced that they have raised €1 million from prominent private investors, including Alexis de Galembert (La Fabrique Cookies), Augustin Paluel Marmont (Michel et Augustin), and Yan Hascoët (Chauffeur Privé). This is a sign of confidence in the ambitious project they are rolling out. This funding will support the launch of two brands in France and the United Kingdom.
