Drugs Meter, the online evaluation of your drug consumption

Drugs Meters is an online application developed by the Global Drugs Survey. It allows you to measure your cannabis use compared to other inhabitants of this planet.

In addition to being independent, this anonymous online questionnaire allows you to compare your use of various drugs with that of people in your area. Developed in 2013 by Dr. Adam R. Winstock of King’s College London, Drugs Meters asks you a series of questions and then shares the information with users in your immediate vicinity.

Dr. Adam R. Winstock is committed to tracking drug use around the world—or at least online. Concerned about the proliferation of synthetic drugs and synthetic cannabinoids, he founded Drugs Meters.

There are currently 9 Drug Meters: Cannabis , Tobacco, Alcohol, MDMA, Ketamine, GHB/GBL, Amphetamine, Mephedrone, and Cocaine.

If some drugs don’t ring a bell for you (and that’s a good thing), it’s because, as an Englishman, Dr. Winstock focused primarily on the use of synthetic drugs, which our Anglo-Saxon friends are very fond of.

The first questions on the test may seem a bit convoluted—covering age group, sexual orientation, and geographic origin—but they are necessary for the second and fourth sets of more specific questions.

To get a better sense of who you are, Drugs Meters tallies your stats and provides an initial assessment that calculates the number of grams—or kilos—you’ve scored since the start of your smoking career. It also shows the amount of money you’ve spent on this drug alone.

The Drugs Meter also shows your ranking compared to other smokers. One thing to keep in mind is that, since the test is anonymous and can be taken multiple times, the statistics may be inaccurate. To minimize this possibility as much as possible, the teams at the Global Drug Survey Nevertheless, they compare their figures with the official statistics.
