Sensemillia Osdorp

Sensemillia Osdorp is one of two addresses in the Sensemillia chain, located at Meer en Vaart 177B in the Osdorp district of Amsterdam Nieuw-West. It's the older of the two, having opened its doors in 1981, making it one of the most historic addresses on the Amsterdam cannabis scene, having been in existence for over forty years.

The location is atypical, and that's precisely what makes it so special. The shop borders the Sloterplas, Amsterdam's largest lake, and shares its building with a bar and a Thai restaurant. The terrace overlooking the lake is one of the attractions most cited by regulars: it's a rare, almost bucolic spot for an outdoor session. The entrance to the coffeeshop is the grey door on the left of the building.

The atmosphere is resolutely local and no-nonsense: the house philosophy that has always been asserted. Quality products at reasonable prices, with no frills or showboating. The selection covers flowers, resins and pre-rolled joints, with staff on hand to advise. The clientele is multicultural and loyal, reflecting the Nieuw-West district it serves.

Sensemillia Osdorp is easily accessible from Schiphol via the A4, A9, A10 and A5 freeways, making it often the first address encountered by visitors arriving by car. Open Monday to Thursday 9am to midnight, Friday 9am to 1am, Saturday 10am to 1am, Sunday 10am to midnight.
