Mr K

Coffeeshop Mr K (formerly Mr K & Co) opened in 1987 and is located in Tweede Laurierdwarsstraat in the Jordaan district.

Mr K is the father of the girl who currently runs the coffeeshop, hence its name.

The coffeeshop's interior is fairly small, but offers ample seating on two separate levels.

On the first floor, there are a few tables and chairs, and at the back is the counter where you can consult the menu and buy drinks and snacks.

Tobacco is not permitted in this area. Upstairs, in the main smoking area, tobacco is permitted in joints. This area has some interesting seating. There's a seat built into the wall with cushions for comfort and a pleasant space near the large bay window overlooking the lower part of the store and the main window.

It's very comfortable at night, especially when all the lights are on.

The menu is largely dominated by Devils Harvest Seeds strains, and they stock very good quality products. The menu changes regularly and generally contains the latest and most popular strains.

The selection of hashish is quite small, with only 5 types available, but most are of high quality. You can also find rosin and Moonrocks made from very good varieties.
