DNA
The DNA coffeeshop is located at Achillesstraat 104 in the Stadionbuurt district, in the heart of Amsterdam's Oud-Zuid. Formerly known as Jabba, it joined the Amsterdam Genetics ecosystem and has since established itself as one of the most serious addresses in the south of the city.
The location, just a few minutes' walk from the Olympic Stadium and fifteen minutes from Schiphol airport, makes this a shop resolutely off the tourist circuit. It's a quiet residential area, and the shop's atmosphere reflects this: no influx of tourists here, but a regular local clientele looking for quality in a professional, no-fuss setting.
DNA was one of the first Amsterdam coffeeshops to be awarded the KCV label, the Keurmerk Coffeeshop Verkooppunt, a quality certificate that distinguishes establishments working with controlled products, in a safe and professional environment. A rare recognition that says a lot about the shop's high standards.
The selection is packed with Amsterdam Genetics flowers and resins, with some exclusive strains that are hard to find elsewhere in town, including Banana Haze and Jungle Haze. Amsterdam Genetics Spacetry edibles are also available. The budtenders are trained and available, with a real ability to advise on the effects required. The shop has a small smoking lounge in one corner.
