The Syndicat Professionnel du Chanvre is organizing its 2nd symposium on hemp and well-being on February 24.
On February 24, the Professional Hemp Union (SPC) is organizing its 2nd Symposium on Hemp and Wellness, which will consist of six roundtable discussions addressing various challenges and opportunities related to the CBD in France.
CBD: A Complex and Long-Term Issue
Whether the issue is regulatory roadblocks, challenges related to its regulation, or the need for more studies to support its use, lawyers, politicians, and doctors will discuss the various perspectives on the industry and its future in France.
For example, Maître Boin and Maître Metton will revisit the suspension of part of the decree of December 30, which was undermining a significant portion of the industry, while William Lemaire, founder of Organiquement Votre, will demonstrate the consequences of these legal disputes.
The second half of the day will seek to address public safety and health concerns related to hemp and will reiterate the need to support the French agricultural sector in light of developments in Europe.
Finally, a panel of experts will discuss the challenges faced by industry stakeholders and will showcase its banking and insurance services specifically tailored to professionals in the hemp industry.
This conference is open to non-members of the SPC. Registration is currently underway on the HelloAsso platform and on site.
It will take place on February 24 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at La Fabrique Evènementielle, 52 ter Rue des Vinaigriers, 75010 Paris.
