The PTMC (Portugal Medical Cannabis) is a pioneering series of Portuguese conferences dedicated to medical cannabis, which began in 2017, even before medical cannabis was legalized in Portugal.
Launched under the name Lisbon Medical Cannabis, the event evolved into PMC19 (and later PTMC), featuring four days of conferences and workshops in Lisbon and Porto, bringing together national and international doctors, researchers, and legal experts to discuss the therapeutic potential of cannabis and its regulatory framework.
Past editions have attracted participants from 22 different countries, establishing the organization as a global leader in this field. PTMC Invites Infarmed, in its current format, offers a more focused program centered on networking with industry professionals and stakeholders, in direct collaboration with the Portuguese health authority Infarmed.
