Het Ballonnetje - «The Little Balloon» - is one of Amsterdam's oldest and most respected coffeeshops, open since 1978. Located on Roetersstraat 12, a stone's throw from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in the Plantage district, it caters to a largely local clientele. The shop is renowned worldwide for the quality of its flowers, with exclusive varieties such as Super Orange Glue, Holy Moment or Beachfront, but also offers a careful selection of hashish.
