Boerejongens Sloterdijk

Boerejongens Sloterdijk is the newest and most unique location in the Boerejongens chain, having opened in 2018 at Humberweg 2 in the Westpoort neighborhood, west of Amsterdam. While the chain’s other locations are situated in residential neighborhoods or the city’s commercial heart, Sloterdijk is located in a modern business park, just minutes from the Sloterdijk train station and the A10 highways—with ample free parking, a rare commodity in Amsterdam.

The interior is the most ambitious in the chain: marble floors, polished brass counters, ceilings adorned with intricate details, and sophisticated lighting. The atmosphere has been described as halfway between a bank and a high-end American clinic, or even as the “Apple Store of cannabis,” as some regulars call it. Operating on a take-away basis only, the shop is designed for efficiency as much as for the experience.

The selection is consistent with other Boerejongens locations: award-winning Amsterdam Genetics strains, hybrids blending Dutch classics with contemporary American strains, exceptional Moroccan hash blocks, and Spacetry edibles created with a Michelin-starred chef (Red Velvet Cake, decorated cakes) that have made the chain’s reputation. The staff undergoes the same two-year training program as at the other locations.
